Balanced Ambient Room Manufacturer in India
Room Type Calorimeter & Balanced Ambient Room Solutions
Balanced Ambient Room
The Balanced Ambient Room at ETI Automation is designed to measure the performance of air conditioners in compliance with ISO 5151 and ASHRAE 16 standards. It captures critical performance data, including capacity, EER, COP, pressure, and temperature of the air-conditioning unit.
The lab comprises two chambers, controlled-temperature air spaces (2 rooms), air handling units, chillers, power panels, computer systems, and supporting infrastructure to ensure precise and reliable testing.
Room Type Calorimeter Method:
Using adiabatic rooms as calorimeters, this method evaluates the capacity of the Unit Under Test (UUT) by measuring heat input or removal from the calorimeter. This includes electrical heat capacity or cooling capacity generated by the cooling coil to maintain rated working conditions.
The test can be performed simultaneously in indoor and outdoor rooms of the calorimeter. The indoor room results serve as the standard rating, while the outdoor room results act as proof experiments.

A Balanced Ambient Room is a controlled testing environment used to evaluate the performance of air conditioners and HVAC systems. It helps measure key parameters such as cooling capacity, EER, COP, temperature, and pressure under standard testing conditions.
A Room Type Calorimeter is used to test the cooling or heating performance of air-conditioning units. It measures heat input or removal from controlled chambers to determine the actual capacity and efficiency of the unit under test (UUT).
Balanced Ambient Rooms are generally designed to comply with international testing standards such as ISO 5151 and ASHRAE 16, ensuring accurate and reliable performance evaluation of air conditioners.
A Balanced Ambient Room can measure several performance parameters, including cooling capacity, Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER), Coefficient of Performance (COP), temperature, airflow, pressure, and power consumption.
The Room Type Calorimeter method uses insulated chambers as calorimeters to evaluate the capacity of the air-conditioning unit. The system measures heat generated or removed to maintain controlled environmental conditions during testing.
Balanced Ambient Rooms can test various air-conditioning systems, including split ACs, window ACs, packaged units, commercial HVAC systems, and other cooling equipment.
Accurate temperature control ensures reliable and repeatable test results. It helps manufacturers verify product performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Yes, Balanced Ambient Rooms can be customized based on testing capacity, room size, environmental conditions, automation needs, and compliance requirements for specific HVAC applications.
